The EQAVET team has recently released a new online tool that offers national and regional policy makers guidance on how to build and monitor a quality assurance system in vocational training.

The tool details the four steps for quality assurance (Planning, Implementation, Evaluation and Review) and contains links to relevant articles, glossary and more than 50 case studies with different approaches to quality assurance systems used by EU Member States. The tool is based on the 2009 Recommendation from the European Parliament and Council.

The "EU Quality Assurance in vocational education and training tool", in combination with our BEQUAL tool and BEQUAL statistics that demonstrate the actual level of knowledge and implementation of quality standards by VET organisation across the EU, can be valuable instruments in the hands of national and regional policy makers in order to ensure the quality level of the vocatioanl education in the European Union.
