When secondary school pupils show a lack of diligence in their studies, teachers still sometimes use a somewhat old-fashioned disciplinary measure – threatening they will end up in a vocational school instead of a university. Nowadays, however, many a university graduate in Lithuania struggle to find a job and therefore flock to vocational schools to learn a trade.
