With a brand new site serving the needs of students for practice, Koralius Mindaugos Vocational Training Centre provides quality vocational training and on-the-job training. The three store establishment, situated in the centre of Kaunas, next to the Acropolis shopping centre, provides working facilities for a number of professions, where the students can have on-the-job training with real clients. The facility includes:
• a florist centre, consisting of a laboratory, an assembling room, a display room, where clients can order flowers and flower creations. The students deliver the final product working in the different steps of the whole process from flower conservation, selection, preparation, assembling and finishing
• a photograph studio, equipped with state of the art technology
• different chambers for the beauty occupations: manicure and pedicure rooms, hair dress rooms, massage rooms, spa, makeup rooms and dressing rooms with modern equipment ready to serve the most demanding clients
• clothing design room, sewing and clothing rooms for tailors.
The centre operates for six months and offers high quality services to the local market, in very competitive prices. The students deliver the services with the support from their teachers, working on real market conditions. The benefits for the students are multiple as they have the opportunity to master their skills in a simulation of real working environment, nevertheless they have continuous supervision and support from their teachers.
