Work based learning (WBL) is proving to be a successful model to improve the learners. Different sectors and stakeholders are demanding a more labour-market-oriented VET education combining practical and theoretical learning in order to qualify skilled workers in a practical way and better prepare them for the requirements of the labour market.

Stimulating international mobility of VET learners by means of transnational WBL experiences is one of the key instrument in achieving this target.  “Engaging SME`s for Quality Transnational WBL experiences” project aims to improve transnational Work-based learning (WBL) for VET learners by creating and validating a WBL implementation model engaging companies and VET organisations.
TRAM-WBL network will provide a unique opportunity for cross-sectoral and 11 cross-boundary partners to meet together and learn from current good practices. The emphasis is on learning from each other’s experience and engaging in a real dialogue with employers.

Through practical implementation of different WBL approaches and feedback from enterprises, the project will develop hands-on implementation guidelines that will improve significantly the quality of transnational WBL experience for the VET learners, VET schools and employers.
